Little Learners

Little Leaners at Kingsmoor is managed in partnership with the Pre-School Learning Alliance, committed to ensuring high standards of provision for children from the age of 3 years.

We are registered by the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) which inspects all care and education provision.

Our`Little Learners' are very much a part of the School and each child is encouraged to enter as fully into the life of Kingsmoor as possible.

We make a particular effort to get to know all of our children as quickly as possible and a background information pack will be given in advance of starting so that you may tell us about your child. We believe that you as parents have an important role to play in the education of your child, and we actively encourage your involvement.

During your children's time as a Little Learner at Kingsmoor, the focus will be on the continuing development of your child, adopting the principles and practice of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS() Curriculum.

All children enter school with a variety of experiences and skills. The Foundation Stage Curriculum ensures provision for these different starting points and develops children's learning by building on what they can already do.
